Project Overview

This contemporary residential elevation balances bold geometric massing with biophilic warmth across three distinct levels. At the street level, the compound wall pairs circular breeze-block jali work and textured stone cladding—displaying the "BHADREESH" signage—with a matte-black vertical slatted gate accented by brass diamond motifs. Rising above, the middle floor contrasts a frameless glass balcony and integrated planter box against a cantilevered concrete volume, which is punctured by a large circular oculus framing a sculptural tree. The facade is crowned by an open terrace beneath a slatted pergola overhang, combining warm timber-lined ceilings, cascading parapet greenery, and a striking V-shaped black steel column that serves as a dynamic structural focal point.

Project Highlights
  • Key Architectural FeaturesSculptural Circular Cutout: A cantilevered grey concrete volume on the left side of the first floor features a dramatic circular aperture that frames a sculpted bonsai tree behind a glass balustrade.

  • Cantilevered Rooftop Canopy: The top-floor terrace is crowned by a sleek, full-width black steel pergola fitted with slatted louvers that filter daylight into the covered lounge below.

  • V-Shaped Structural Strut: A bold, black V-shaped column anchors the right side of the upper terrace, creating a striking diagonal contrast against the building's strong horizontal lines.

  • 3D Geometric Feature Wall: The right boundary walls on the ground and terrace levels incorporate three-dimensional curved and geometric relief paneling that adds depth and shadow play.

  • Materiality & LightingTextural Contrast: Smooth white exterior walls and frameless glass balcony railings are juxtaposed against raw concrete textures, fluted dark-grey fascias, and matte black metalwork.

  • Warm Undertones: Wood-paneled ceiling soffits across the first and second floors, along with brass-finished signage and diamond-shaped gate hardware, bring warmth to the modern industrial palette.

  • Architectural Illumination: Recessed ceiling downlights across all three levels and vertical linear light grooves alongside the circular cutout highlight the facade's depth.
